Vince Campisi
Vince Campisi, previous GE Digital chief operating officer, has been appointed as United Technologies Corp.‘s (NYSE: UTX) chief information officer and senior vice president for digital services effective Monday.
He will work to implement UTC’s digital strategies as well as drive the strategic direction of its global information technology operations in his new role, UTC said Friday.
Campisi worked for GE beginning 1999 and has held a number of executive roles, including general manager for cloud services and chief information officer for GE Software, as well as overseen the deployment of big data analytics and mobile technologies.
“Vince’s knowledge and experience in this area will be instrumental in positioning us to capture [business] opportunities, ” said Gregory Hayes, UTC president and CEO.
Campisi will succeed Nancy Davis, who will retire by the end of the year.
