He will oversee the execution of key sustainability and digital transformation initiatives and advance the adoption of Honeywell Accelerator in his new capacity, the Charlotte, North Carolina-headquartered company said Thursday.
Kapur has held various positions of increasing responsibility during his more than three-decade stay at Honeywell, including as president and CEO of the building technologies division, president of the process solutions unit and vice president and general manager of the advanced solutions line of business.
“Vimal has served Honeywell customers for 33 years, and in that time has achieved a deep understanding of the Honeywell portfolio, our end markets, and our customers’ needs,” said Darius Adamczyk, chairman and CEO of Honeywell.
Kapur will continue to lead the Honeywell PMT organization until a replacement is named.
