When a completed ship sails away from Ingalls Shipbuilding it is always a proud moment for all shipbuilders who played a part in her construction. Portland (LPD 27) Program Manager Mike Pruitt tells us why he is particularly proud and shares his thoughts on watching the ship from start to finish. LPD 27 will be commissioned in Portland, Ore. on April 21, 2018.
