John West, former managing director of Verizon‘s (NYSE: VZ) enterprise solutions unit, has joined Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) as vice president of business development and strategy, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Wednesday.
The report said West has more than three decades of industry experience in areas such as cybersecurity, telecommunication, networking, cloud computing, professional services and enterprise information technology integration.
He held various roles that involved support for federal government customers during his 33-year career at Verizon and previously spent four years at ACS Systems as a sales representative.
West earned a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College.
