The project will include transitioning to a multichannel telecommunication system designed for USPS customer services that support 80 million interactions annually, Verizon said Wednesday.
Under the 10-year contract, the company plans to support the agency’s artificial intelligence integration goals through cloud migration.
Maggie Hallbach, senior vice president of Verizon’s public sector business and a 2023 Wash100 Award recipient, said the company intends to bring its network-as-a-service offering and digital tools to the project.
