The State Department has awarded VariQ a position on a multiple-award $350M contract to build data fusion platforms for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
VariQ said Thursday the bureau's Office of Western Hemisphere Programs is seeking tools to fuse information through cloud, mobile, agile and biometric approaches.
The company aims to develop systems under the INL/WHP-IT contract vehicle to support data sharing for anti-transnational crime operations within the Caribbean and Latin American regions.
Other clients include Department of Homeland Security components and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
VariQ is headquartered in Rockville, Md., and helps government customers design IT platforms intended for cybersecurity, cloud and DevSecOps initiatives.
