VariQ, a Rockville, Md.-based provider of cloud, cybersecurity and DevSecOps services to federal, local and state government agencies, has acquired Reston, Va.-based design and systems integration firm Rivet Logic for an undisclosed sum.
Ben Edson, founder and CEO of VariQ, said in a statement published Thursday the transaction will allow the company to provide more digital transformation, cloud and cybersecurity services to public sector and commercial clients.
“This investment represents an important strategic opportunity to offer our mutual clients new solution options, broader consulting experience, and robust digital transformation services across the United States and internationally,” Edson added.
Rivet Logic will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of VariQ while retaining its identity and brand. The company expects to gain access to certifications and technology partnerships through its combination with VariQ to help expand its services as a Splunk Partner and as a Microsoft Gold and Cloud Solution provider.
