Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has appointed Vanessa Godshalk as strategy and consulting practice lead and named Kristen Vaughan as operations growth platform lead within the company’s federal services business.
Godshalk and Vaughan will help Accenture Federal Services to drive business growth and create value for its clients, AFS said Friday.
In her new role, Godshalk will leverage the team’s industry domain expertise to establish the practice’s position as a strategic market differentiator. The 25-year company veteran is being promoted from her position leading the company’s civilian financial services practice.
Her areas of expertise include revenue, banking/supervision, pensions, housing finance and financial regulation, and she will utilize her previous experience to continue delivering transformational programs to federal clients in her new role.
Vaughan will work with consulting and technology teams to bring cloud, cyber and human resources offerings to federal customers in her new position.
Throughout her 17-year career with Accenture, Vaughan has led the company’s human capital practice and defense and national security segment. She helped established AFS’ Federal Workday and Human Resources as a Service businesses.
