David Streett, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Valkyrie Enterprises, has been promoted to the roles of president and COO at the Virginia Beach, Virginia-based military support contractor.
Valkyrie credited Streett with helping integrate four acquired businesses into the company and grow its workforce to more than 700 employees since he joined the organization in 2010.
The three-decade maritime industry veteran succeeds Gary Lisota, who has stepped down as president but will continue to serve as CEO.
Streett previously held various positions at Newport News Shipbuilding and AMSEC.
