VA Details $650M Contract Vehicle for Health Tech Support Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting proposals for a potential five-year, $650 million contract vehicle intended to augment technology design, development and testing efforts within the Veterans Health Administration.

A solicitation notice posted on SAM.gov states that the Accelerating VA Innovation and Learning program calls for subject matter expertise to create novel platforms for potential use in real-world clinical settings.

Task categories identified by the VHA Office of Healthcare Innovation and Learning for the AVAIL contract are personalized care, data transformation, digital care, immersive technology and care and service delivery models.

VHA oversees more than 1,700 sites of care that serve approximately 8.76 million military veterans annually.

The agency will accept offeror submissions until June 30.
