UTS Systems Awarded $200M DLA Military Shelter Supply Contract

UTS Systems has been awarded a potential four-year, $200M contract to supply commercial shelters to four U.S. military branches.

The Defense Logistics Agency awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a one-year base period that runs through Nov. 7, 2020, plus three option years.

DLA will obligate funds from defense working capital for fiscal 2020 through fiscal 2021 to cover purchases from the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.

According to UTS, its shelter offerings cleared military performance tests and feature an external folding-frame design and an internal liner system combined with the outer fabric.
