Allen Harper, a former U.S. Marine Corps information technology officer, has joined T-Rex Solutions as executive vice president of cybersecurity.
He will be responsible for cloud service delivery efforts across the federal sector in his new position, the company said Monday.
Harper spearheaded USMC's IT and cybersecurity operations in Western Iraq before he retired from military service. He then established and led a consulting company focused on ethical hacking, penetration testing, reverse engineering and offensive security missions.
Prior to T-Rex, he worked at Liberty University as department chair and cyber program director.
Harper noted that he aims to help government clients secure the migration of critical assets and services to cloud computing environments.
“As we work to build, secure, and integrate mission-critical systems, we will look to Allen’s leadership and commitment to the mission to relentlessly drive innovation," said Seth Moore, CEO at T-Rex.
