The U.S. Agency for International Development has posted a draft solicitation for a potential $5 billion procurement vehicle designed to promote democracy and peace in countries experiencing political transition.
USAID said Tuesday in a notice posted on SAM.gov the sixth iteration of the Support Which Implements Fast Transition indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will have an ordering period of 10 years with additional two years for ongoing task orders.
The agency plans to issue eight awards under the contract’s unrestricted portion to implement and administer targeted transition programs and support program-funded agency personnel.
SWIFT 6 will include a small business set-aside track covering recruitment and deployment technical assistance.
Ten companies won positions on the unrestricted SWIFT 5 IDIQ segment awarded in September 2019 and valued at $2.5 billion over five years.
