L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) has secured two contracts worth up to $281 million combined from the U.S. Air Force to fabricate aircraft and develop a mission system for unnamed foreign military sales customers.
The company will provide aircraft engineering, fabrication and procurement services under a potential $210 million contract that runs through April 2, 2022, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
DoD added the mission system development contract has a potential value of $71 million and the Pentagon expects L3 to complete work by Nov. 30, 2020.
The Air Force’s 645th Aeronautical Systems Group obligated $102.9 million in FMS funds for the first contract at the time of award and another $34.8 million in FMS for the second contract.
L3 will perform all work at a company facility in Greenville, Texas.
