The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District has awarded 10 small businesses spots on a pre-placed remedial action contract, multiple award task order contract, or PRAC MATOC, to provide services supporting hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste, or HTRW, remediation projects for the USACE Northwestern Division and the Environmental Protection Agency Region 2.

Scope of Environmental Response Services
The contract covers environmental response actions for civilian and military agencies. The selected companies will provide the following:
- Service and construction activities for the Superfund program.
- Service and construction activities for the defense environmental restoration program, including installation restoration program activities on active Army and Air Force installations and on formerly used defense sites.
- Environmental compliance and pollution prevention projects for the Department of Defense Environmental Quality Program, Brownfields projects and the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program.
- Environmental cleanup activities for the Base Realignment and Closure Program, Department of Energy, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Agriculture.
- Support activities for military installations and USACE’s civil works projects under environmental and homeland security laws and regulations.
- Work for other federal agencies.
