According to the solicitation notice posted Monday on SAM.gov, USACE NAD plans to award at least five indefinite delivery contracts. Each IDC is guaranteed a minimum $4,000 seed task order and will have a 60-month performance period without option years. Task orders will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. The solicitation requires interested contractors to submit their proposals by Nov. 5.
Scope of Contract Work
A-E services under the contract encompass various design, planning and technical support functions for military and non-military construction projects. This includes MILCON, sustainment, restoration and modernization, or SRM, and installation information systems, or IIS, programs.
These services cover large-scale and complex projects exceeding $10 million, such as new construction and renovation of hangars, aviation and training facilities, runways, fueling systems, research labs, barracks and cold region infrastructure. A-E tasks include building system upgrades like mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, environmental and geotechnical studies, historic preservation, sustainable design, cybersecurity integration, and preparation of design-build documents and cost estimates.
