AECOM Technical Services, Jacobs Government Services and five other companies have secured a spot in the U.S. Army’s $249 million multiple-award contract for energy system design, engineering, commissioning and planning services. The companies will compete for task orders under the firm-fixed-price, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Contract Details
Work locations and funding will be disclosed once task orders are awarded. According to the request for quotations posted on SAM.gov, the potential five-year contract covers multiple military installations within and outside the United States, including Germany, Kuwait and South Korea. The expected completion date is Nov. 6, 2030.
Baker-Stanley-Cardno JV, Black & Veatch Special Projects, HDR Engineering, Tetra Tech, /Mason & Hanger JV and Pond-SIA JV complete the list of selected contractors.
The government solicited bids for the project online and received 23 submissions. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers serves as the contracting activity.

The U.S. Army also recently awarded task orders under a hybrid contract valued up to $7 billion for the design and construction of military facilities. USACE also served as the contracting activity for the project.
