TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 14, 2018 The Customs and Border Protection agency has tapped Unisys (NYSE: UIS) to develop and operate systems designed to support the assessment of potential risks from travelers and cargo that enter the U.S., ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
Unisys said Wednesday it received a task order to provide cloud, big data analytics and biometrics platforms to CBP’s targeting and analysis systems program directorate to help agents automatically distinguish passengers and shipments required to undergo additional investigation as well as those that can proceed to the low-touch automated clearance procedure.
