A Tutor Perini Corp. (NYSE: TPC) subsidiary has received a potential $78 million contract from the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command to design and construct a live-fire training complex at Naval Support Activity Andersen in Guam.
Guam-based Black Construction Corp. will build four live-fire training ranges along with supporting structures at the installation’s Northwest Field, Tutor Perini said Tuesday.
Work also covers the construction of surface radar/camera sites, distance rifle/pistol range administration and range maintenance buildings and an area distribution node with radio frequency communication tower.
BCC is scheduled to begin the construction project next month and expects to complete work by November 2020.
