A Tutor Perini (NYSE: TPC) subsidiary will construct a machine gun range at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam as part of a three-year, $122 million contract awarded by the Pacific Division of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command.
Black Construction’s project at the Northwest Field includes the development of a multi-lane, multi-purpose shooting range, a control tower and an ammunition distribution point, the company said Wednesday.
The fixed-price contract also provides for covered bleachers, utilities, site work as well as incidental related efforts. The construction is scheduled to be finished by October 2024.
According to Tutor Perini, its third quarter 2021 backlog will reflect the contract value.
