Tutor Perini JV Lands $98M Contract to Build USMC Officer Quarters in Guam

A joint venture between Tutor Perini (NYSE: TPC) and its Black Construction subsidiary will build a bachelor officer quarters at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz in Guam under a $98 million contract from Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, DVIDSHub reported Tuesday.

The project for Black Construction-Tutor Perini JV involves the construction of a multi-story housing tower, a one-story common area wing and a separate building for utility purposes.

Single-occupancy housing units within the BOQ building will include a bedroom, closets, private bath, laundry and a kitchen.

NAVFAC expects contract work to conclude in May 2024.

The Japanese government will fund the project under an international agreement with the U.S. The contract also aligns with the Defense Policy Review Initiative between the two countries.
