- TSS Solutions has named Ryan Fayrweather as SVP of growth and partnerships
- Fayrweather brings more than 30 years of international defense experience
- He will oversee business development, marketing and contract capture efforts
TSS Solutions has appointed Ryan Fayrweather, a retired U.S. Army colonel, as senior vice president of growth and partnerships.
In a statement published Monday, TSS Solutions President and CEO Don DiFrisco said Fayrweather brings more than three decades of international defense experience and expertise in government partnerships as the company continues to build global relationships.
What Are Fayrweather’s Responsibilities at TSS?
In the role, Fayrweather will identify and pursue new business opportunities, oversee the company’s marketing and brand presence, and manage the capture process for new contract awards.
He will also lead the company’s global growth efforts in radar modernization and counter-unmanned aircraft systems while advancing relationships across government, industry, and the international defense market.
“TSS Solutions has the technology, the track record, and the people to compete at the highest levels globally,” Fayrweather said. “There’s a significant opportunity to grow this brand, and I look forward to leading this effort.”
Who Is Ryan Fayrweather?
Fayrweather is a U.S. defense and security assistance expert and former Army officer with more than 30 years of experience in strategic partnerships, international defense cooperation, foreign military sales and global business development.
During his military career, he served in multiple embassy leadership and security cooperation positions, including three tours as chief of the Office of Defense Cooperation at U.S. embassies overseas. He also served as director of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command’s CENTCOM office.
After his military service, Fayrweather served as VP of international business development at Ocean Aero, where he supported international defense and maritime autonomy efforts.
He most recently served as a consultant at Victory 6 Advisors, supporting small and emerging companies with strategic growth, international business development, fundraising and defense market engagement.
The Abilene Christian University marketing graduate holds a master’s degree in international relations and national security studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a master’s degree in international security studies from Sapienza University of Rome.
What Is TSS Solutions?
TSS Solutions is a defense electronics company focused on developing radars and satellite communications systems. Founded in 1991, the Florida-based portfolio company of Acorn Capital Management provides service life extension, maintenance and operations support and technical services for defense and government customers.
Fayrweather’s appointment comes about a year after TSS named communications technology leader Joshua Cryer as chief technology officer and VP of engineering.
