Test Facility Operations, Maintenance & Engineering Services III Contract Scope
Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Huntsville, Alabama-based joint venture will deliver engineering, research and scientific support at the Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, NASA said Friday. The agreement covers management support encompassing engineering, technical, manufacturing, development, operations, maintenance, inspection and certification services essential for aeronautics and space-related testing in NASA Glenn’s test facilities and laboratories.
The contract, scheduled to begin on Jan. 1, 2026, includes a three-year base period with a two-year option and an additional six-month extension that will potentially extend the deal through June 2031.
NASA issued the final request for proposal for the TFOME III contract in August 2024. Before this, HX5 Sierra handled the second iteration of the contract, receiving the 10-year, $363 million TFOME II contract in 2015.
