Trexon, a specialty connectivity equipment supplier backed by Audax Private Equity, has acquired tactical communications technology provider Power Connector Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
Ohio-based Trexon said Tuesday the deal expands the company’s engineered products group with the addition of PCI’s interconnect systems designed for military use.
Andrew Linder, founder of PCI, noted that the combination will also help grow the acquirer’s technology offerings in the aerospace and defense sector and other core markets.
PCI is headquartered in Suffolk County, New York, and offers a portfolio of connectors that have been selected for the Defense Logistics Agency’s qualified products list.
