Artificial intelligence company Torch.AI has acquired The DataTech Group for an undisclosed sum to provide further support to data processing efforts in the government sector with the use of technology.
Illinois-based DataTech offers an information technology platform for public and private sector customers to plan, analyze and manage organizational efficiency, Torch.AI said Tuesday.
The acquired business also provides software and technical services for data warehouses, enterprise IT architectures and decision support tools.
In March, Torch.AI raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by San Francisco-based investment firm WestCap Group and said it would use the money to update its Nexus data management platform.
The Kansas-headquartered technology vendor recently received interim authority to test in a Department of Defense mission environment, according to a LinkedIn post.
