Tom Watson
Tom Watson, a more than 25-year government market veteran, has been named senior vice president of federal services business at the North American subsidiary of Serco Group.
He will be responsible for Reston, Virginia-based Serco Inc.‘s operations and business development strategies across the defense and citizen services markets, the company said Monday.
“His depth of knowledge and experience throughout the defense industry and with the federal government will be a great asset as we continue to grow our business in the defense and citizen services markets,” said Dave Dacquino, Serco Inc. chairman and CEO.
Watson held a 22-year career at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), where he previously served as SVP and general manager of SAIC’s Navy and Marine Corps customer group.
He previously worked for Resource Consultants Inc., which Serco bought in 2005, and served in the U.S. Navy for six years.
Serco Inc.’s federal services unit offers intelligence, logistics, modeling, simulation, training, personnel readiness, acquisition and program management, business processing and case management services.
