Atlas Research and Prometheus Federal Services’ joint venture Titan Alpha has received a contract to help the Veterans Health Administration determine whether race and ethnicity affect former service members’ access to federal assistance for homelessness.
Titan Alpha said Friday it aims to help the VHA Homeless Programs Office address diversity issues in the workplace and to care delivery for military veterans.
Contract work will also include organizational assessment, policy and project management support to the office’s racial equity and justice working group.
Jeffrey Greenberg, principal at Atlas Research, said the company has supported federal health equity initiatives for more than one decade.
PFS President Greg Smallwood, noted that the team will work to help VHA address challenges at the intersection of racial inequities and veteran homelessness.
