Tim Phelps, former vice president and corporate controller of DCS, has transitioned to new roles as chief financial officer and treasurer at the Arlington Virginia-based professional services contractor.
He replacesTom Fradette, who retired as CFO and treasurer after a 14-year career at DCS, the employee-owned company said Thursday.
Phelps has managed the firm’s GovCon compliance, financial reporting, internal controls and tax functions since 2012 and served on corporate committees on enterprise security, policy review and employee stock ownership plan administration.
Before DCS, he worked as vice president of finance at Maximus (NYSE: MMS) and held financial leadership roles at Farradyne.
