In his new role, Keating will lead the recently-established strategy and government affairs organization at Sierra Space, the SNC subsidiary said Tuesday.
The new division will consolidate long-term strategic planning, global government operations and business development functions of Sierra Space and will focus on new systems and services for national security partners; research and manufacturing centers in space for commercial and private clients; and new space transportation networks.
Keating will leverage his industry experience to lead the new Sierra Space group. At Boeing, he was responsible for spearheading its government relations functions and was an executive council member and company public policy effort lead.
“Tim has the proven execution track record, unparalleled expertise and unyielding integrity necessary to lead our company’s new strategy and global government operations group,” said Sierra Space CEO Tom Vice.
