LMI has recruited Tim Hanes to serve as vice president for the homeland security market. In his new role, Hanes will oversee initiatives to develop and deliver digital solutions that can counter emerging threats and safeguard government networks, LMI said in a LinkedIn post Saturday.
“Feeling incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside so many talented (and really nice) teammates,” Hanes wrote in his LinkedIn post. “For those in my network who don’t know LMI or want to get to know us better, check us out. Who is Tim Hanes?
Hanes is an experienced executive equipped with public sector expertise. He previously served as director of federal accounts at MetaPhase Consulting, a firm that offers technology advisory services to government agencies.
Hanes’ resume also includes positions at Tessada & Associates, Corporate Executive Board, Ogletree Deakins and RTI International.
In addition to his work at LMI, he serves as a reserve officer for the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
The executive holds a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice and public policy analysis from Penn State University and a master’s in government and security studies at Johns Hopkins University.
