Textron Systems Receives $312M Navy Contract Modification for Landing Craft Materials, Services

Textron (NYSE: TXT) has secured a $312.4 million U.S. Navy contract modification for materials and recurring and non-recurring activities in support of Ship-to-Shore Connector platform development.

The Department of Defense said Thursday 35 percent of Textron Systems’ contract work for up to nine Landing Craft Air Cushion 100 Class boats will be performed at its New Orleans, Louisiana site.

Remaining activities will be conducted in Camden, New Jersey, and several other states, as well as in Gloucester, U.K. Work is expected to wrap up by October 2025.

The Navy will obligate approximately $238 million from its fiscal 2022 to 2024 shipbuilding and conversion funds at time of the contract award.

Naval Sea Systems Command serves as the contracting activity.

In August 2023, Textron Systems was awarded a $241.4 million contract from the Navy for the landing craft’s construction material and support services.
