Victor Lund
Teradata (NYSE: TDC) has appointed Victor Lund as president and CEO, where he will lead the big data analytics provider’s operations after nine years as a member of its board of directors since 2007.
The company said Thursday Lund succeeds Mike Koehler, who resigned from the position as well as the board director post.
Vic has been a valuable contributor to the Teradata Board, and, importantly, he has been instrumental in the Boards oversight of Teradatas transformation, said Jim Ringler, Teradata board chairman.
“As CEO, Vic will also be highly focused on organizational development and succession planning to address the leadership needed as the company enters its next phase.
Lund previously chaired the audit committee on Teradatas board of directors.
He also served as the non-executive chairman of the board at DemandTec and held a similar role at Mariner Health Care.
Lund is a former vice chairman at Albertsons and served as board chair and CEO at American Stores Company, where he held a 22-year career.
