Ted Harrison
Technical and Project Engineering has promoted Theodore Ted Harrison, formerly senior vice president of TAPEs products division, to the positions of senior vice president and chief operating officer.
His promotion will take effect Sept. 10 and he will be in charge of business operations, internal growth and personnel with emphasis on training systems, management consulting and technology services, TAPE said Tuesday.
The 37-year U.S. Army veteran will take over duties previously held by Executive Vice President William Jaffe, who will now oversee the company’s business growth strategies.
He most recently led the development of training offerings for the government and commercial sectors and previously served on the Section 809 Panel on Acquisition Reform, a congressionally mandated group tasked with helping the Defense Department transform its procurement system.
Harrison also worked as the Pentagons director of operations for the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management, as well as the Army Contracting Commands commanding general.
