‘Tech Steps Up for No Kid Hungry,’ announced on Friday that the campaign has raised over $500,000 in support of eradicating poverty and hunger in the US and across the globe.
No Kid Hungry was launched in 2010 by Share Our Strength, a nonprofit organization with more than 35 years of experience successfully investing in local nonprofits and helping find the best approaches to eradicating poverty and hunger. Senior leadership for the organization includes:
Tim Hurlebaus (TL), Todd Stottlemyer (TR), Dave Henderson (BL), Nazzic Keene (BR)
Donna Morea, chair of the board of directors at SAIC
No Kid Hungry has mobilized to help schools and community groups across the country by providing strategic emergency grants as well as continuing to advocate for needed systemic changes to guarantee all kids receive the healthy meals they need to thrive. You can be sure that your gifts have been put to good use to support this work.
As a child hunger organization, ending childhood hunger is our primary focus, though Share Our Strength continues to invest in and develop other campaigns.
