Richard Geruson
Richard œRich Geruson, formerly president and CEO of software company Phoenix Technologies, has been appointed by the board of directors of Lexmark to serve in the same roles at the Lexington, Kentucky-based imaging systems provider.
Geruson succeeds David Reeder, who resigned from the company in June, and will serve as a member of the board of directors, Lexmark said Monday.
Prior to Phoenix, Geruson previously worked at Voice Signal Technologies as CEO for four years and as a senior vice president at Nokia for five years.
He also held VP roles at IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Toshiba as well as director and managerial posts at Stratus Computer and McKinsey & Co.
Geruson is a former research faculty member at Harvard Business School and served on private and public boards across three continents.
A management team composed of Brock Saladin, SVP and chief revenue officer; and Allen Waugerman, SVP and chief technology officer; led Lexmark on an interim basis following Reeder’s departure.
Saladin and Waugerman will directly report to Geruson and continue to serve on Lexmark™s executive leadership team.
