Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based workforce services provider System One has purchased Herndon, Virginia-based professional services company GAP Solutions for an undisclosed sum in a move to expand its portfolio of offerings for federal civilian and defense clients.
Troy Gregory, president and CEO of System One, said in a statement published Wednesday the company expects the acquisition to provide growth opportunities and help broaden its federal market presence.
GAP Solutions provides scientific and technical support, security process management, enterprise information technology, operations management and human capital management support services.
The company also holds spots on several contract vehicles such as the General Services Administration™s Schedule 70, U.S. Navy™s SeaPort-e and the U.S. Army™s Human Resources Support Services contracts.
System One supports various industries through delivery of managed staffing programs, integrated services, recruitment process outsourcing, vendor management platforms and other personnel support services.
The McQuillan Group offered financial due diligence assistance in the transaction and investment bank Bluestone Capital Partners helped manage the deal.
Clark Hill acted as legal counsel to System One in the transaction.
