System One Buys Federal IT Services Contractor TPGS; Troy Gregory, Billy Hinson Quoted

Pittsburgh, Pa.-based workforce services provider System One has acquired Reston, Va.-based intelligence services contractor TPGS for an undisclosed amount as part of efforts to expand its information technology offerings for federal civilian and defense clients.

“The expertise and reputation of TPGS aligns with System One’s strategy of providing mission critical services, broadens our reach in the federal market and creates opportunity for our continued growth, said Troy Gregory, president and CEO of System One, said in a statement published Thursday.

TPGS will retain its brand and run as part of professional services firm GAP Solutions, which System One purchased in December 2017.

TPGS provides IT consulting, software engineering, cybersecurity, training and instructional design, management support and business intelligence platforms for the federal sector.

“The union with GAP Solutions provides a platform of federal prime contract vehicles with the national reach needed to broaden our customer base and exceed our current growth targets, Billy Hinson, a vice president at TPGS.
