TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 18, 2017 ” Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) has revealed it utilized machine learning technologies and threat intelligence sharing through its Global Intelligence Network to provide protection to Symantec Endpoint Protection and Norton users during the recent global ransomware attack, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Monday it was able to counter an estimated 22 million WannaCry infection attempts against customers with the help of its Integrated Cyber Defense Platform.
