TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 21, 2018 Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) has unveiled a free service that will work to bolster the cybersecurity of websites for political organizations and candidates using artificial intelligence technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Tuesday the AI-powered service is designed to verify the security and authenticity of campaign and other websites with the goal to counter spoofing and other misdirection tactics designed to spread “fake news” ahead of the U.S. midterm elections in November.
