The Swift Group, a Reston, Virginia-based IT services provider, has acquired OPS Consulting for an undisclosed sum to expand technology offerings for the Department of Defense and the intelligence community.
Holton Yost, president and CEO of Swift, said in a statement released Thursday the acquisition will help the company to execute its long-term growth strategy and offer new products and services.
Hanover, Maryland-headquartered OPS Consulting supports defense and intelligence customers in areas such as program management, systems engineering and technical assistance, software engineering and integration and signals development and reporting.
Capstone Partners acted as the exclusive financial adviser to OPS Consulting on the transaction. Swift sought legal advice from Arnold & Porter.
