Sunil Ramchand
Sunil Ramchand, former CEO of Mission Essential, has joined VT Group as president and chief growth officer at the Chantilly, Va.-based defense technology contractor.
He will oversee VT Group’s growth strategy and also serve as a member of its board of directors, the company said Wednesday.
The U.S. Navy veteran previously served in military and civilian leadership roles at the White House under the Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations.
Ramchand served as a naval surface warfare officer and worked at the Defense Department.
He holds a bachelor™s degree in ocean engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master™s degree in public administration from Harvard University.
