Sumo Logic Names Sandra Bergeron as Independent Director

Security industry veteran Sandra Bergeron has joined Sumo Logic as an independent director on the cloud data analytics company's board.

Bergeron also serves as a board member at technology service providers Qualys and F5 Networks, Sumo Logic said Wednesday.

She previously served as chairman of security management software vendor TraceSecurity and held board membership seats at ArcSight and Sophos.

Sumo Logic also named Lisa Hammitt, global vice president of data and artificial intelligence at VISA, to the Redwood City, Calif.-based company's advisory board.

Hammitt previously worked at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) and Salesforce (NYSE: CRM). The 28-year industry veteran serves as an adviser for the Department of Defense and is a board member at other tech companies.
