Steven Cummings
Steven Cummings, formerly vice president of business development and strategy at Chemring Group, has been named the company’s global business development and strategy VP.
Cummings will oversee the company’s initiatives to develop growth strategies for all business segments, offset programs and research and development investments in coordination with David McDonald, non-U.S. VP of global business development and strategy, Chemring said Wednesday.
“Steve’s knowledge of current and evolving global defense requirements makes him the ideal person to shape Chemring’s strategy in key markets, ” said Juan Navarro, president of Chemring North America.
Prior to joining Chemring in 2015, Cummings served in the U.S. Army as a project manager of close combat systems at the program executive office for ammunition and as project director of joint services.
He retired from the military as an Army colonel after 28 years of service.
