Steve Smagin, formerly the director of business development at Triumph Enterprises, has joined Ardent Management Consulting to serve as vice president for the federal civilian business.
Over the course of his three-decade career, Smagin has helped companies capture market opportunities and manage programs in areas such as information technology infrastructure and modernization, security and cloud.
He most recently led strategic proposal and contract capture efforts for Vienna, Virginia-based IT company Triumph, with a focus on agencies including NASA, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
His professional experience also includes time at KeyLogic Systems, Blue Canopy, SRA International, EmeSec and the Environmental Protection Agency, where he held various management roles for programs on hazardous waste, pesticides and toxic substances.
