Stephen Carlton
Stephen Carlton, formerly business capture director at iGov, has been promoted to vice president of program management at the Reston, Virginia-based government systems integration services provider.
Carlton will oversee the companys program management office and project portfolio as well as help government clients meet project performance, cost and schedule requirements, iGov said Monday.
Michael Tyrrell, president and chief operations officer at iGov, said Carltons operations, engineering and leadership experience would help the company support government customers in their national security efforts.
Carlton has more than three decades of experience in systems integration, engineering and program management.
He previously worked as a senior solutions architect at L-3 Communications, now called L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL), before he joined iGov in 2015.
He also held engineering roles at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Harris (NYSE: HRS).
Carlton is an adjunct professor at Cornerstone University.
