The State Department has approved a potential $320 million foreign military sale of aircraft and radar spare parts and related equipment to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States .
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Friday the possible FMS covers spare and repair parts, consumables and accessories, and repair and return support for F-16 aircraft and Active Electronically Scanned Array radar spare parts and support.
TECRO also requested to acquire government and contractor engineering, technical, and logistics support services; and other related elements of logistics and program support.
Deliveries, which are estimated to begin in 2025, are aimed at ensuring the recipient’s fleet of F-16 aircraft are always operational to meet current and future threats.
