State Department OKs TECRO’s $320M Request for F-16 Aircraft, AESA Radar Spares

The State Department has approved a potential $320 million foreign military sale of aircraft and radar spare parts and related equipment to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Friday the possible FMS covers spare and repair parts, consumables and accessories, and repair and return support for F-16 aircraft and Active Electronically Scanned Array radar spare parts and support.

TECRO also requested to acquire government and contractor engineering, technical, and logistics support services; and other related elements of logistics and program support.

Deliveries, which are estimated to begin in 2025, are aimed at ensuring the recipient’s fleet of F-16 aircraft are always operational to meet current and future threats.

DSCA has notified Congress of the possible sale.
