TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 7, 2018 An unmanned spacecraft that Boeing (NYSE: BA) is building for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency may eventually be launched from a new facility that Space Florida is proposing for construction at the Kennedy Space Center, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
Florida Today reported Sunday that NASA has begun a review of the state agency’s proposal for a new pad that will be called Launch Complex 48 to support the future launch of Boeing’s Phantom Express, which is being developed under DARPA’s Experimental Spaceplane Program.
