Singh will remain with the company as a member of Lynx’s board of directors and an adviser on corporate strategy, the company said Wednesday.
Reed joins the San Jose, California-based software provider after more than 19 years of career at Green Hills Software, where he formerly served as senior vice president for advanced products.
His appointment comes a week after Lynx secured an investment from affiliates of OceanSound Partners, a New York-based private equity firm that invests in technology companies that serve both the government and enterprise markets.
“The embedded software market has long been a priority investment area for our team, and we are excited to collaborate with Tim to execute on our growth and value creation strategy,” said Joe Benavides, managing partner of OceanSound Partners.
