TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 8, 2016 Davis Johnson, U.S. public sector vice president at Riverbed Technology, has stated that software-defined wide-area networking could support the federal government’s digital transformation efforts in spite of the challenges posed by legacy information platforms, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The SD-WAN will aid DevOps, customer experience, Internet of Things and big data agility, automation, flexibility and visibility, Johnson wrote in a guest post published Thursday on GCN.
He added that the SD-WAN will work to allow agencies to adjust network performance and application delivery in an effort to address demands and prevent application network outages.
