U.S. Special Operations Command is looking to award L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) a $297.2 million contract modification to fully execute a capital equipment replacement program for legacy manpack radio systems.
The command said Friday in a SAM notice it identified a need to extend the ordering period by two years and increase the original IDIQ award’s ceiling value to address program requirements.
L3Harris’ contract is scheduled to expire June 12, 2023, and SOCOM identified a need for an extension to make up for radio production delays.
